Cambridge Time Traveller founded in 2007 is pleased to announce its parent body "Time Traveller Media Group" has obtained further funding and has now become a not for Profit group under the Name of "Time Traveller Media Group Ltd"

This is great news as our sponsors/ Donors and fundraising teams can be assured that every penny that is given for the group to promote History using new media.  As a not for profit group we have no shareholders to pay so this means any profits we do make are reinvested back into the organisation.

Fonz Chamberlain said in a recent meeting "This is great news for everyone involved in local history, We have always put community first in our history project and are happy to work with any group or person to progress History in Cambridgeshire"

Since March things have been very busy within the Time Traveller Media Group because we are building some new great project and it's these projects I want to tell you about now.

The second project is Envision TV a community tv channel for Cambridgeshire. The station plans to launch first on the internet on 1^st July and hopefully subject to licences later feature on Digital TV (FREEVIEW) and Cable.

The Cambridge Time Traveller Group in partnership with Cambridge First Newspapers want to invite you to be involved with our new exciting photograph project.

Every week from the 2nd March 2011 we will feature your pictures of Cambridge in a new section in the Cambridge First newspaper. The pictures can be of anything from your favourite street, building, landmark or just you and your friend in the city. This project is open to all age groups and at the end of the year a panel will pick winners from all the pictures received and some of you could win some wonderful photograph equipment.

Pictures sent must include the following details:

• Your Name
• Your Contact details
• Where the picture was taken
• What date was the picture took ( must be in 2011)

The new weekly section will also give some of the history of the places in your pictures and they will also be available on both the Cambridge Time Traveller Group and Cambridge First websites.

So get snapping your pictures now of Cambridge on your cameras and moblie phones and send them to us at the contact above and they could feature in the Cambridge First news paper, on the Cambridge Time Traveller Group website, or better still win you some top of the range photograph equipment.
